Based in Singapore, ChatterBolt is a digital eXperience design company - an authentic* one.

Our existence leverages on 3 key trends: the unyielding power of consumer influence in the social media era, the rising of New Consumers who are demanding and sceptical of marketing fluff, and the range of cool technologies at our disposal that can transform how marketing campaigns and even service offerings are designed today.  


We aim to change the way traditional marketing, advertising or business services are carried out today by adding the 'Technology Touch' in every design we do. We dedicate most of our efforts in creating the "Bolt" eXperience for your customers - jostling them out of their "don't bother me" zone and giving them a whole new magical experience and perspective of your brand.  

What we do best: inventing and dabbling with a plethora of cool, interactive technologies that will capture the attention of your customers and wow them over. Our technology portfolio includes iPhone/Android mobile apps and
interactive touch-screen installations, integrating technologies such as QR code, Augmented Reality, Feature and Facial Recognition, Interactive Touch and Gesture Interaction, mobile-payment, Sensory and Location-based technologies.

Incidentally, the name ChatterBolt draws inspiration from the word ‘ChatterBot’ or ‘Chatter Robot’ –which, as defined by Wiki, is a computer programme designed to simulate intelligent conversations with one or more human users, primarily for engaging in small talk.

We strive to live up to the Chatter Robot lineage of generating intelligent conversations - creating spontaneous and authentic chatters that entail trust and confidence.

Besides experience conceptualization and implementation, we also have our proprietary Interaction Analytics tools and techniques which will subtly capture both explicit and tacit consumer insights about your brand or products. It is through our Interaction Analytics coupled with our iterative model which will eventually help you, as the brand owners, build trust and binding relationship with your customers.    New Media Director

Ken has been involved in all levels of interactive design over a career lasting more than 10 years. He commenced his career at Edge Consultants working with brands such as Nokia and the Singapore Supreme Court. He then went on to join Formul8 as part of the pioneering team. In his role as Interactive Developer over the next 2 years, he worked on projects for corporate clients such as SingPost and The Hour Glass. These experiences led him to his current creative partnership with Kiat, named ohplay.

As a strong advocate of web usability, Ken applies his sound understanding of web design to all his projects, resulting in work that portray his "less is more" principal of design. Ken prefers whiskey with soda and collects art in his free ti

Swee Lyn has been involved in all levels of marketing communications, from both client and agency perspectives, over the past 10 years. Kicking off her career with The Event Company, she has since moved on to Mediacorp News, The Filter Group, Levi Strauss Asia-Pacific Division and ohplay.

Her varied interests in the areas of fashion, sports, music, travel
